We’re looking forward to a great week of the Labors of Love which prep us for a good “Rally” Kickoff for the year, this year in the two-day experiment of Saturday Open House/RibsFest Luncheon and Saturday Worship/Lunch/Slideshow and Dedication .
Please plan to drop in Saturday for lunch and mingling (and volunteer IF YOU HAVE TIME).
Please RSVP for lunch Saturday by Wednesday 9/5 so we can have a headcount.

Here’s our working schedule:
- Friday 6:00pm – 8:00pm – there will be some cooking in kitchen and pre-set up in Fellowship Hall
- Saturday – Volunteers begin to arrive for setup 8:30ish am. Trouble-shooting, coffee setup, outside signs, balloons, etc.
- 10:00 – 1:00 Displays, outdoor games, background music. 50/50 raffle Tickets sold
- 10:00 – Doors open…outdoor and indoor games
- Soccer class demos
- 10:30 Chefs aiming for ribs ready by 10:30/11
- 11:30 Sanctuary/building tour (and other times by interest or by appointment)
- 12:00 Soccer class demos
- 12:30
- 1:00 Closing for day/volunteers transition to Fellowship Hall set-up for Sunday.
- Fencing (and maybe Facepainting) TBA.
- Sunday – 10:00 Worship… including “Blessing the Backpacks” for all students. We welcome new member Linda Stirk. Luncheon afterward (leftovers + special sheet cake)… Brief dedicating slide show presentation for the year.
