Rev. Jacki BelileThat’s not the FIRST verse I thought of after church Sunday, when I know the quality of worship was compromised by the internet quality in sanctuary.  I was disappointed, as it seems each week there’s progress and bumps all together.  But surely I locked into gratitude for your and our patience as I pondered how well you’ve all been hanging in there as we walk this technology evolution journey.

THANK YOU for not giving up!  Worship has been steady. We’ll get there.

THANK YOU to David A. for spending hours troubleshooting sound system connections (yay! 10/11 was better), buying the new laptop to be dedicated to sanctuary worship (yay!) and so faithfully being remote zoom host in recent weeks.

THANK YOU to Carla for becoming a tech assistant (we’ll need more!) on site.

THANK YOU to Kate Rau for being Zoom host this week in our absence, and please look forward to a good sound quality experience since it’s zoom only and sanctuary echoes are not a part of problem.

THANK YOU to Rachel T for donating the wi-fi radio which we assume will be part of the solution.

I HAVE EVERY CONFIDENCE OUR NOVEMBER 1 “ALL SAINTS DAY” SERVICE WILL BE OUR BEST YET, AND HOLD THE REVERENCE OF THE CELEBRATION WHICH IS IMPORTANT TO US ALL.

Back to vacation now…
