The Rev. Jacki BelileTime. Money. Attention. Plans.

It’s approaching Sabbath time; it’s enough.

This is not the prime focus of worship this Sunday, but a random comforting thought at the close of this week:)

THIS WEEK

Sarah and I hatched up the invite you’ve seen to share pictures of your present or past beloved pets or other special animals.  We’ll see if anyone took us up on that, we’ll use whatever we have, and we’ll help you to call those to mind regardless.   This time of Thanksgiving will fit into a larger Thanksgiving for Creation, and for God’s wisdom and presence shown in creation.

As you think about what YOU need in this season of life, I pray you’ll move mountains to spend the time you can outdoors – even if it’s the simple sitting on a porch in the gaze of God’s sunlight.  What are some of your favorite places to go, alone or as a family? What are your favorite memories of nature’s special places? Call these to mind this day. What do they teach you?

In Christ’s Peace and Grace,
Pastor Jacki
