Our Annual Celebration of the Gift of the Holy Spirit (considered the birth of the Church) will be extra special this year. We’ll gather for the first time in our fully restored sanctuary, following deep cleaning (and our “Labors of Love” resetting Saturday morning).
I’m very excited about Sunday’s service. Why? First, we’ll enjoy a “hymn sing” as a key portion of the Pentecost experience this year. YOUR HYMN REQUESTS ARE WELCOME. Share the title or page number if you know it. We’ll make it happen even if it’s not in our hymnal… Please share by email or phone to office by Thursday at noon.
Second, our friend Deaconess Catherine Inserra will join us in a meditation on/with the Lord’s Prayer. Anticipate a special fresh encounter with the prayer that anchors us, and imagine how it must have held the first disciples as they waited for the promised Spirit!
Third, we’ll have a chance to offer a special “thank you” to Sarah for her journey with us this past year, including some relaxing fellowship and reception (outdoors, weather permitting).
PLEASE JOIN US IN PERSON if you are able.
In Christ’s Peace,
Pastor Jacki
