In a month of a near-miss asteroid, raining fish in Texas, Omicron everywhere, dreadful spikes in crime, disturbing social divisions and disheartening national politics…
A few of our local neighborhood church leaders have crafted a vision for tomorrow’s ecumenical worship. We’ll meet at Trinity Lutheran, 5106 N LaCrosse AND BY ZOOM. * For prayer and song and Word and Table. FOR UNITY. For HOPE. It’s a tough time for us all, but the folks of Eden, Congregational Church, Redeemer of Calvary, Trinity Lutheran bear witness that Christ has given himself to us and His light shines on.
We will celebrate Communion at this ecumenical gathering.
*NOTE ABOUT ZOOM. It’s our plan to have our Zoom line open as usual. HOWEVER, I can tell you in advance that I can not guarantee the quality of audio as we’ve improved it at Eden over the months. Trinity does not have great internet, and we will not be plugged into their sound system. PLEASE DIAL IN and please participate as patiently as possible. The bulletin link and music packet link below have all the details you need to follow along well.
If you’re with us in person, an offering plate with our name on it will be at the welcome table so you can give your regular offering, or you can give online or by mail as usual. THE MISSION OFFERING FOR TOMORROW goes to the Working Group on Homelessness in Jefferson Park. To support WGOH online, click HERE.
