This week has been filled with encouragement amid the demands so pressing. Pastor Steve Angel, our Pastor Emeritus, reached out with blessings and vision for us that landed  in some very timely texts to my phone. The Fundraising Committee had a fruitful meeting with efficiency AND deep discernment and unity (they don’t always go together in committee life, as you know). David opened up the Good Company channel Tuesday night via zoom.

The Trustees met today and heard a preliminary report and did some additional discernment headed toward Sunday’s Council meeting.  Wednesday “R-SPACE” for youth was at capacity with ten kids for our guest leaders Amy and Kyren of Culture of Safety LLC.  Duane and I held space for sanctuary prayer, and recorded a 6-minute blessing you can find on our website.  Next week – Deacons, Worship committee and more planning for fundraising campaign. Thanks to ALL OF YOU who have completed the survey so far (including those who’ve begun planning to sell things for the cause:))

Looking ahead – We have August “Labors of Love” needs for the building. Miscellaneous cleaning, primping, organizing, loving. If you’d like to be assigned a doable job, please let the office know. And remember to share your good ideas and helping hands and grapevines as our campaign unfolds.  Together, we will be God’s vessels of provision!
