Rev. Jacki BelileOh, how we need communion.

Communion at the rail. Kneeling with the protesters and first responders across the land.

Communion in the home. Humbled by Christ’s sacramental presence in every kind of home and for every kind of need.

Communion in the land. Transformed lives poured out in love of neighbor, modeling the joy of sacrificial service and the bonds of a Christ-like love that forgives sin without stooping to “cheap grace.”

Communion, communion, communion.

Oh, how we need communion.

We’ll honor Christ’s presence and power with a communion service once again prepared for Zoom worship at 10:00 a.m. this Sunday per our usual schedule.  If you are led, please prepare a setting of bread and cup (wine or juice) in your home.  Please contact me if you’d like communion delivered later this week to use on Sunday, or would like to set up an appointment to pick up communion elements for then. (Since the sanctuary is also open by appointment for communion, I am glad to serve you on-site if you prefer.)  You can best reach me at 773-655-4357.

In Communion, in Christ’s Peace –
Pastor Jacki
