Dear Eden Family,

“Creating with a Creator God” is the theme we’ve been reflecting on this month as we review and explore Old Testament stories.  We recognize that God’s called us to not just BE blessed, but to be a blessing.  That part of how God creates in and through us is the work of forgiveness… creating new possibilities out of past and present sin or failure. Last week, Rev. Wayne reminded us that God creates through community, and our part in making community with each other. 

We’ll conclude these meditations this week with remembrance that God creates through our actions when we  SAY NO to the sins of injustice and oppression.  Like the midwives who saved babies like Moses, there are times for “a godly disobedience.”  God uses our  YES and our NO in the service of the good He intends.
